Who we are
History:
Crabtree’s Wildlife Recreations Taxidermy Studio was started by Audie and Mary Lou Crabtree. It has been family owned and operated since 1956 and is a nationally certified taxidermy studio. Chris Crabtree, Audie and Mary Lou’s son, is an active member designing, creating, and operating the business. The longevity of the studio shows a commitment to the art of taxidermy and customer satisfaction. We are members of SCI, Mule Deer Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, North American Wild Sheep, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, NRA, and the National Taxidermist Association.

Who we are:
We are proud to become lifelong taxidermists to our clients who repeatedly bring their trophies in. This happens because we take the extra effort to work directly with clients in designing their mounts to provide years of enjoyment. We can assist you in designing trophy rooms and we will develop habitat scenes to give you what you want. No mount leaves the studio that we would not be willing to hang in our own homes or put into competition. We are sportsmen that have hunted all over the world and know just how important each trophy and the memories associated with each trophy are. We strive to make each mount taxidermy art. We are not a production line that just slaps a skin on a form to get it out the door as quick as possible. We take our time to make each mount unique unto itself. We don’t make a skin fit a form we alter and/or manufacture a form to fit a skin.
